Greektown, Toronto, also known as Greektown on the Danforth, or more simply, The Danforth, is a neighbourhood and Business Improvement Area (BIA) of the city of Toronto, in Ontario. It is located on Danforth Avenue, between Chester Avenue and Dewhurst Blvd., in east Toronto. 

Modern Greektown is a vibrant, eclectic mix of boutiques, shops, markets, cafes, and one of the world’s highest concentration of restaurants and bars per kilometer — from friendly family-owned eateries to large, upscale establishments.

For most of its history, Greektown was a working-class area; but this has begun to change in recent years. Construction of larger homes and the arrival of residents with higher incomes has led to a significant rise in real estate values, and Greektown real estate — commercial and residential — is seen as a wise investment. High rents associated with the increased real estate values can result in substantial revenue to property owners in this neighborhood.
